Floating into the markets

Exciting news Stand fans: The sparkling lemonade-sorbet floats we debuted this past weekend were such a hit that we’re going to be adding them to the permanent market rotation!

For the uninitiated, you can expect tasty combinations like basil lemonade with grapefruit sorbet and tarragon lemonade with watermelon sorbet. Essentially, deconstructed versions of our favorite lemonade and limeade flavors.

Be sure to check back in on Twitter and Facebook for announcements on upcoming flavor lineups!

The Stand Pop-Up at 61 Local

Did you catch that? It’s The Stand popping up all over your Brooklyn radar!

In addition to serving your favorite not-so-simple-lemonades and limeades at Smorgasburg, The Brooklyn Flea, and Green Grape Provisions, we’re thrilled to announce that starting this weekend, The Stand will be setting up a pop-up shop at one of our favorite neighborhood spots: 61 Local.

But not just any pop-up lemonade stand: Given 61 Local’s stellar lineup of local beers and our current Shandy obsession, we’ll be combining forces to offer a trio of our favorite new beer cocktails. Here’s what we’ll be serving:

Basil Shandy: Bright basil lemonade makes a strong match for Allagash’s fantastic Belgian wheat beer, which is spiced with coriander, curacao, and orange peel.

Cucumber-Tarragon Shandy: This unexpectedly awesome combination marries our refreshing and fragrant cucumber-tarragon limeade with the oh-so-drinkable, lightly citrus-hoppy Ommegang Belgian Pale Ale.

Blackberry-Mint Shandy: For those looking for something on the sweeter side, this pairing matches our fruit-forward blackberry-mint limeade with Peak Organic’s citrusy Summer Session.
